Suitable for vegetarians, the bread, when cooled and covered freezes very well. Packaged in plastic free, recylable FSC paperbags. Pricey, but delicious loaf of breadBought to use with my Panasonic SD-2500 bread machine.Very simple to use. Add the required amount of water. Use Programme 2 on the machine (Basic Rapid), let the machine do its thing and you’ve got yourself a delicious loaf of bakery-quality bread. It is expensive per loaf, to be honest, so it’s unlikely that I’ll be using these bags too often. However, the convenience of the bread mix makes these packs ideal for when you just need a quick loaf of bread or have run low/out of ingredients such as yeast which seems difficult to come by in these COVID-times.Mine arrived with an expiry date of November — so about six months, which is great. Will definitely have used all five packs by then.

Just the blend I was looking for!Deserves its name, premium and flavourful it is! Just add water and you get the softest, melt in your mouth white bread, and my bread maker was in love too! Highly recommended.

Ideal for rapid programme on bread machines, rises really wellThis bread mix works perfectly using the ‘rapid’ programme on our bread machine, cooking in under 2 hours. It rises really well, making a soft, light-textured airy loaf, great for eating fresh or as toast. It is of course more expensive than making your own mixture from the separate ingredients, but sometimes the extra convenience is worth it — just empty the packet into the pan, add water, set the machine, 2 hours later: fresh bread. I do add about 25g of butter to the mix as it seems to keep better, but that’s not essential especially if you’ve got a family who are going to finish it off in a couple of days. You don’t have to use the whole packet at once, if you prefer a smaller loaf, but the main benefit of this mix for me is convenience, no need to weigh or measure, and its reliability, good results every time. We used this frequently through lockdown and never had a bad result. Keeps much better than most supermarket bread, and tastes so much better. The packs arrived with a comfortable 5 months until the expiry date.

Not so good this time roundNot sure if there is something not quite right with this batch of bread mix . I have had this product before from this seller and it baked up beautifully . This time however using the same methods as before the loaves are not appearing and tasting as they should.

Bread making bread mixThis did work in my bread maker to make acceptable bread but recipe on the packet needed about 15% less water in my machine than was stated on the packet otherwise the bread rose too much and had air pockets. When I reduced the water in the recipe the bread was better but not the best!

Simple and easy to make!I ordered these bread mixes because I was unable to get hold of any flour during lockdown and was desperate to bake some bread! The mix was easy to make into dough and instructions easy to follow. It does bake very quickly in the oven and less time than stated. Keep a careful eye on it in the oven, as on my first attempt the crust was slightly burnt. For those who don’t want to fuss with using yeast, it is ideal. It also tastes delicious!

Excellent productWhen this arrived it was on a small packet and not what I expected. It is a one loaf portion, so we had 5 loaves to make. We have just baked a loaf a d wow. It is wonderful. I’m looking forward to the others and will definitely be buying more. It is so easy to use as well pour the whole packet into the breadmaker, add water and turn the machine on. It is ready in just under a. Hour.

Perfect to stock up onThis bread mix is really nice & I’ve bought this before from shops on the high street. I have a bread maker & it’s so easy to use, It’s tasty makes a good loaf & especially at the moment things with the pandemic it keeps well as a dry ingredient in the cupboard & is ideal to fall back on when needed. The only neg if any would be the price, it costs more than you will pay on the high street so ideally would be even better if the price was somewhat a little less but as for the taste & quality, try it you won’t be disappointed.

Bad batch?Only just bought my first ever bread maker, and I wanted to keep it simple and use a bread mix. First loaf with this turned out bad 🙁 Top was flat and the entire loaf was very pale and didn’t taste very nice at all. I followed instructions on the packet perfectly, and used the correct settings on the bead machine. There’s another review here that posted exactly the same issue, and she even shows a picture of her loaf that looked exactly how mine turned out.Today I made a new loaf using all separate ingredients and it was perfect and tasted incredible, using exactly the same settings on my machine, so I know I didn’t do anything wrong. I checked the packet for expiry, but it’s well within that. I can only assume something is wrong with the batch I received.
