My Dog Loves itI have a 7yr old GSD who has been fed on ‘high end’ dried dog food all her life. I decided to give Wagg a try and introduced it gradually over a period of 4 weeks, she has now been fed on Wagg for the last month and she is thriving on it. I was wary at first about going over to Wagg because of some the negative reviews but I have concluded that like humans it can be like Marmite you either love it or hate and its the same with dog food. In the past some of my dogs have turned their noses up on so called quality foods preferring cheaper brands instead. So don’t be put off by the negative reviews its cheap enough to give it go.

Poor qualityI suppose you get what you pay for, in this case not much at all. I ordered this to extend the higher quality dog food but it’s not of very good quality. Grain is extremely cheap but not particularly healthy and that’s what the vast majority of this food is. Dogs should be provided with plenty of meat and vegetables yet there is a tiny amount of vegetable matter and the meat is mostly poor quality “animal derivatives” and doubtless extremely low welfare. In terms of taste, my dog will eat anything but he’s vastly more excited by other dog foods.

Winning formula! My retired Guide dog of 13 years loves this as a mixer and on it’s own. Have tried many brands but of them all he seems to enjoy this the most. He seems to have got his ‘mojo’ back since changing to this food. (Use as a mixer with tinned meat for first meal of day and alone for evening meal). Will continue to buy this now as it seems a winning formula.

Great ValueUsed to buy more expensive dry food, as our dog has had problems with other cheaper brands in the past. After reading reviews on here however, we thought we would try it. So glad we did. Our dog loves it, no problems with it at all. I just gradually introduced it by mixing small amounts in with his usual food.

High Hopes Big DisappointmentI’m disappointed in this product. Based on the reviews, I had high hopes.I have two big dogs to feed so I do consider budgeting and cost per meal when choosing dog food and this 15kg bag is relatively cheap. One of my dogs who usually eats anything in (or out) of his bowl, wasn’t really enthusiastic about this. Both dogs’ stools are soft and difficult to pick up since feeding this. Very soft and very stinky. The gas is unbearable too and it’s woken me out of my sleep in the middle of the night to throw them out, open the window and spray air freshner around the house — it’s so, so bad which was something we never experienced with other dog foods. His energy is fine. There seems to be less hair on the rug after they’ve rolled around on it.I’m really not sure if I will be placing a repeat order for this. There is still some left in the bag and I will get to the end of it before I make a conclusive decision and I will update my review if I find their stools firming up or the gas settling down but as far as recommendations go, I can’t enthusiastically recommend this dog food.Edit. Half a bag of this gone to waste. Both dogs will rather go hungry than eat it — they tip the contents out of the bowl and just flat out refuse to eat any. I would persevere but there’s so much mess from their sloppy stools that I don’t see the point.

Dog foodI have used Wagg complete dog food for my dogs for over ten years and they are all delighted with the taste and I enjoy the quality and cost.I have and will continue to recommend wagg to friends and family.

Not for sensitive stomachsInexpensive and my border collie enjoys these biscuits but unfortunately they don’t agree with his stomach. For the whole time he was on these he was producing something the consistency of half melted chocolate ice cream from his rear end. Not easy to clean up after him, therefore. Once he was taken off these biscuits his number 2s returned to being solid and normal.

My lab like it.Yes I have a lab who will eat anything put in her bowl. She is very fit working dog and we walk around 5 to 6 miles every day. (rain, shine, snow, rain) I had no upset stomach when I swapped it over. She ate it all. I do mix fresh raw broccoli with her dinner and I also weight the amount out so she does not get over fed. Labs just need to look at food and it goes straight to there hips. Delivery was always no problem, although I did feel sorry for the delivery guy carrying it up the stairs to my flat. Dog happy, owner happy

My dog likes this foodWe were using an expensive brand of food for my dog before. It was £50 a bag .. then we switched to this brand. Honestly, there’s no difference. My dog doesn’t seem any worse off on this cheaper value food, her tummy is fine, her no2s are okay and she seems happy and healthy. Recommend this food, good value, not expensive and very much does the job.

I love my waggI love the chicken and veg flavour — sets my up for the day. Although I get a bit bored having this for breakfast and dinner 7 days a week — thank goodness for Sunday’s when I get a little of the sunday roast leftovers to break up the same old same old. My mate Snoop is very windy — don’t think its the food though
