Not good if you type fastI look at the keyboard when I’m typing not the screen and whenever I typed a sentence when I looked it up was al in gibberish. Turned out the keyboard could keep up when I was typing slow but if I typed at any sort of moderately fast speed it would miss out multiple letters in each word. No good for me at all. returned the next day, save yourself the hassle and pick a different keyboard.

Good value: £11.98 next day delivery. But paint coming off “2”, “L”, “S”, “N” keys. Disappointing!Used comfortably many hours a day working at a Linux PC (lots of keyboard interaction — mouse not used as much as on mac or windows). Keyboard layout exactly correct for UK (despite pictures on some web sites showing non-UK layout). Flaps at back provide slight tilt: enough for me. rubber feet at back prevent sliding on smooth wooden surface. Cable more than long enough to go all the way round to back of PC on shelving adjacent to desk. Keys have a nice positive action, and almost silent — would not disturb anyone else in the same room. Excellent value for money after two weeks use. ADDED A FEW WEEKS LATER: quality not as high as I thought — white paint coming off one of the keys already: the “2” key label. A few months later more keys lose paint: “L”, “S”, “N”. Pathetic! Reduced from 4 stars to 1. Why can’t they use better paint, like other manufacturers? It would be worth it for a small additional cost.

Noisy keyboard, letters rub off the keysVery noisy clacky keyboard, spacebar is so noisy I sometimes wonder if it’s faulty but it keeps working. Much much louder than the keyboard on my laptop, when I’m talking on the phone and typing it’s a real struggle to hear the person on the other end. How they can call it quiet I don’t know, because it’s very noisy. After about 2 months use the letters are wearing off the keys so they’re just black keys with no letters. I’d say you get what you pay for but not really because there are cheaper keyboards than this.

tial using keyboard easy to use if very slow typerAs you can see this is not the best my mac is doing he predictive tex and fix this bt the actual keyboard mies out letters if you are use to typing at normal human sped and not two finger typing. im going that with me bashing keys harder the this has worked but at present its a little silly andhopefuly in time it wi register — so it might be fine or arthritic hands ad try slow typers but or none who grew up on msn chat this is very laggy more so tan a wirlees keyboard. bought wired thinking it would e bettermight jus ned to replace my mac onemay see if this is any better on my works windows laptopwill come back to update

Cheap and cheerfulI bought this as it was on offer, about £6,and I needed a cheap keyboard in a hurry.I use it for homeworking, does its job, feels good.I wouldn’t have any gripes about using it for gaming, but im a casual, not looking for high apm, im not a twitch gamer so your mileage may vary in that respect. For me, so far, it does what I need it to, its responsive, comfortable and was cheap.

  6. Andy

Good keyboard but no instructions! No paperwork included. I simply wanted to know some basics like what the 12 function keys control.First reply from seller just said there was no paperwork available. On pushing them they sent a reply giving some suggestions as to what the keys may do, depending on other factors.I have not tried them all yet but I simply wanted to know things like how to raise/lower volume etc. Still no mention of BASICS like that at all. Although feed back was prompt it was of little use. I would not recommend for this reason. (unless, unlike me, you know all the answers already)!

Works during windows but keys stick on boot upIf you want to use this keyboard to navigate the bios or select boot options you can’t.Pressing an arrow key or the arrow keys on the numpad once doesn’t move you to the next option but to the last. Its almost as if you’re keeping your finger on the key, or as if the button is jammed. This isn’t a problem during Windows, the keys work as they should. So if you never plan on doing a fresh install, navigating your bios or using the keyboard arrow keys before windows has booted. This will do you fine, if not look elsewhere.I sent mine back.

Not very responsive — have to press keys twiceNot happy with this keyboard. It doesn’t compare with others I’ve had. The keys are not responsive and you can’t type more than 3 words without a letter not registering. It’s definitely the keys because I’ve typed slowly making sure to press every key, yet some letter keys still do not register. I’ll have to buy a different one now, waste of time and money.

  9. Kerri Lawrence

GreatI was so sick of my wireless keyboard playing up and typing things on its own! So happy I bought this, works perfectly and great value for money. Sometimes more technology is not the answer! Got rid of my wireless mouse for the same reason, always playing up. Gone back to old plug in style which is so light and no problems.
