Incorrect spelling and poor qualityI would avoid this. The whole thing is cheap looking — although not sold cheaply. The finish is poor and they can’t spell Panda correctly.Edit. Contacted seller, who has promised a full refund. But the item is still not decent quality. Poor finish, pictures and letters are just pieces of paper stuck to the tiles and the whole thing is rough and ready. Only three stars because the seller responded to my complaint very promptly.Edit. Despite what the seller says in the comment below, I beg to differ. The letters/pictures overshoot the tile and are not good quality. I advise people to look at the pictures provided above and enlarge the shot of the alphabet tiles, where they will clearly see the pictures stuck on and not even trimmed properly to the size of the wooden tiles. My own photo confirms this.

DON’T BUY THIS.. DANGEROUSMy son had it for 10 min and the paint is coming on in his hands and found bit on his face .. I wouldt recommend this

  3. Tizme

ABSOLUTELY fABULOUSThis item is very well made, it’s very sturdy, very capable of being dropped, slammed down on floors as toddlers like to make noise, especially when they are happy. The alphabet blocks are a nice chunky size, the counting beads are lovely bright colours. There is a clock one side end, (which is great when Hickory dickory dock is sung) Two chunky fish on the other end side and a wipe board on the bottom, which we haven’t introduced him to just yet. I bought this for my grandson who’s 22 months and his favourite thing is phonics and counting. This item has brought a whole new world to him. Having had covid back in late december/January he is a little delayed in speech but the abacus has helped an awful lot and he is now able to match up the letters with the phonics and sound them from the programmes used by his parents and myself. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews, maybe there were flaws to begin with but it looks like whatever they were it’s been taken on board and corrected as this is worth the money (If a toy is made of decent wood don’t expect to pay less than £15 basic) and a genuinely good all round learning item. Thank you so very much

Came broken, (update) was refunded and gift sent amazing sellersOpened this on my son’s first birthday yesterday, 3 blocks have wood splintered so I can’t give it to my son as hes at risk of getting a splinter and I paid 30 pounds! Also one block some of the picture is missing. My little boy loved it but can’t even use it.UPDATE:The seller contacted me directly and refunded the item which came broken, also a extra gift was sent for my little boy to say sorry. These sellers clearly care alot about their customers and am very grateful for such amazing customer service and will be using these seller again x

not goodI bought this for my grandson for christmas he is only 6 months old now so we got it out the box this week thinking he would be attracted by the bright colours on the frame which he was he was on his mat hitting the letters etc but it wasn’t till later that i noticed he had bits of bright colour flecks on him when i checked the frame i saw that wherever the frame had been touched by the baby with his wet fingers as hes teething the stickers had broken up and the colour came off over him not happy this could have been in his mouth, The frame wasn’t cheap and should be child proof

  6. mummy long legs

Perfect 1st Bithday PresentWe had already bought Birthday Presents for our Grandson but meant to delever them in person whensuddenly we were locked down again. Amazon came to the rescue with next day delivary available on this really sturdy bright and attractive wooden multiactivity toy. The quality of the toy is great , it has lots of play and learning value and potential to still be used for a good few years ahead as he moves from pushing the beeds accross and turning the alphabet cubes to learning letters and numbers and colours and eventually time and drawing and writingThe quality is great very happy with this product and the efficiency of the delivary

  7. Miss_p0sitive

Missing parts- but rectified afterUpdated review- was able to contact the seller and was quickly sent the sticker to correct the spelling. Also given a satisfactory response as to why a pen was not included so I would now give this 4 out of 5 stars. Only reason it is not 5 is because I had to peel off extra bits of sticker from the alphabet side so that it didn’t come off in the child’s hand. Overall happy with the product, very happy with communication from seller and would recommend.Initial review-In principle I think this is a great gift but I have not received the sticker correcting the misspelt word. I purchased it knowing that it was misspelt but believing I would get the sticker so it’s disappointing that it has not been included. I also did not receive a pen for the whiteboard section. Would have scored higher if it was fully functional and contained everything so slightly disappointed

  8. Sam S

Health Hazard, do not buyThe plastic bits come off the stickers and were sticking to our child’s hand. Initially we were removing it from his fingers to avoid plastic going into his mouth. Now we have just given up and boxed this up. Additionally, some words are in Chinese and some have incorrect English spelling.

  9. Mika2609

Good value and sturdy…Bought this for our 10 m/o. She has engaged with it and I am sure will do so more over coming months. A veryt well made and solid toy. The various options will provide different levels of novelty so I am sure it will last a while.Very pleased.

  10. Rowena May

Made in ChinaThe wooden letters feel more like plastic than wood (probably some lightweight kind of wood but certainly not of quality) and the images are clearly stuck on and look like a little drool from baby would be enough to get them peeling off.Despite the company calling themselves ‘Toys of Oxford’ the product is made in China (as stated on the box).
