NOT A SAMSUNG!!!!Very poor quality. Protective stickers weren’t even applied correctly. Knew from the off it wasnt a samsung. Also when i turned the phone on and went through the set up options i noticed that you couldnt skip the add network option which i could on all previous Samsung phones i have had in the past. Returned it immediately. Amazon were very responsive although its been roughly a week and im still waiting on my refund

Good value. Excellent performance so far.I did a bit of research and specifically bought the version of this phone that sports a better processor—I am absolutely certain of this; the cheaper version has a MediaTek processor while the one I selected for has the Exynos. Unfortunately, what I received was the MediaTek version. Since I purchased the phone, the prices have changed. I’m pretty disappointed about that but it is what it is.The A12 is mostly advertised for supporting near-field communication, but my phone doesn’t support that. This is a minor setback in my case as it was just something that I figured might be a bit more helpful, but using contactless cards sort of makes using the phone to pay for things redundant. Still, it’s advertised elsewhere as supporting this but I suppose that’s more down to Samsung. The performance is pretty stable and it seems to be able to handle everything I throw at it. It comes with good storage to boot so I don’t need to worry about having to delete things to make room for more things. The battery life is an incredible change over my old phone and it’ll easily go for at least two days (even when I’ve been watching or playing things) on a full charge. The fast charging is another nice change.

Fantastic phoneI bought a cheaper phone for work. I have a Samsung S20plus and it’s very similar, same screen size, fast charge, just a small amount thicker etc. For £142 what a bargin. Does everything my S20plus does. I’m sure the S20 has loads of other things but as an everyday phone it’s perfect.

Great ValueVery affordable Android phone. Excellent value considering what you get. Not for the “pro users” that want the best of the best but if you want a phone that does pretty much everything most others do, you can’t go wrong…

Cheap and very cheerful 😊WelI, I really wanted to up my phone game and purchase the iPhone12, but after careful consideration and with much regret I settled for the Samsung A12, only because buying such an expensive iPhone will only attract muggers…in London. ☹A12 is a brilliantly price phone. The screen size is exactly what I needed. Hopefully the last phone I will need to purchase for a few years.🥳

  8. Amazon Customer

Great buyI have for weeks been working out where to buy a new mobile phone from and which phone. So after much thought and looking at various websites and phones, I decided to spend more than I usually do and bought this a few weeks ago. My old phone is a Samsung Galaxy J3. So far this A12 is great, I charge it every other day, no storage problems yet. When I first got it, I spent hours using Samsung Smart Switch app to wirelessly transfer apps and date from old t new phone. I lost my Whatsap groups, now at least partially got back from people Whatsapping me. Some of this and taking time is due to me not knowing technology things, like how to do things on the phones. So I can connect the phone to my new adapted Motability van and use maps, ring people etc.To me this seems a good phone for the money, using my SIM only contract. I have I believe 1 year warranty from supplier + 1 yr from Amazon as it’s from a certain Amazon supplier. I tried registering the product on Samsung website for their warranty, without success.I ordered as an accessory, a protective thick case and screen cover. The phone is clear, good sound, fairly quick, bigger than my j3. A good buy.

Gift — happy recipientFrom the personal point of view I can’t really comment on this since I bought it as a present for my 17 yo son. What I can say is that he is over the moon about it.I chose this one rather than a 5g since our local coverage of 5g isn’t great (according to the coverage checker for the local area), and since 5g phones tend to cost considerably more than 4g this was a better choice.

  10. Joe Stewart

Good phone for price | Basic features | Good battery life and fast chargingFirstly, It’s not a top of the line phone, so don’t expect it to be running the best and newest processors, it’s not snappy quick like an iPhone.Overall I’ve never really cared much phones, As long as it runs YouTube as well as other apps such as WhatsApp, snapchat etc.. Which it does quick and adequality.Camera is ok, Although if you’re looking for a good camera I wouldn’t recommend this phone when you can spend a bit more and get a better phone with better camera.Screen is good, Not much glare seems to present colours within a decent rangeNot too large, Fits nicely in pockets or handsOverall, it’s a budget phone if you’re using it for the minimum it wont disappoint, otherwise I’d recommend something more expensive.
