Become an office coffee heroNescafe was our office instant of choice until some over savvy saver thinking themselves Vice President of office supplies decided they could save 50p a month buying an inferior brand of instant. The outrage of the incident spread like wildfire and I needed to take action. With only the dregs of Nescafe left in the building we needed a hero… As a Prime Member I was able to get next day delivery to ensure Nescafe continuity for the loyal fans of what is undeniably the best average instant in the world. Purchasing from my own personal funds was a big investment. Rewarding loyal staff in the face of cost cutting adversity… Priceless. Nescafe lives on my desk now. Guests and “inferior brands are ok” attitudes are not welcome. For die hard, Nescafe continuity fans, they come to me. The keeper of the good stuff. The coffee office hero. Don’t underestimate the power of Nescafe. It may seem low quality but wait until your faced with its absence. Treat your team.

Perfect for any coffee lover!I drink alot of coffee, I would be buying the jars that are on offer for £5 weekly, and still find myself having to nip to the local shop for more in between. So decided to see if I could buy in bulk and came across this.Great value for money, my favourite coffee, and the tin it comes in I’m spoilt for ideas on how to recycle it lol.I have added a photo to give an idea of size compared to my kettle. 🙂

  3. David Baylis

Bulk Buy is bestI have always liked Nescafe but up to now have been buying the Jars which works out very costly so I changed to the 1KG box which last 3/4 months. It looks a pricey item when you look at it but when you realize its last that amount of time when you are a coffee drinker. Have just bought a half kilo refill to see how that fits in with my shopping.

  4. Terry

It is the real McCoy and it is all that we drink in the way of coffee.Nothing beats the taste of Original Nescafe Coffee for busy people who are on the go all the time. This is a very convenient and cost effective way of buying it so, a bit like squirrels we have been stock piling it ready for Winter. We will of course be buying a lot more in the future as it is commonsense to purchase it this way. Need I say more?

  5. Andreas

Great Tasting & Money Saving Coffee!Overall, great taste for a great price coming from a coffee lover! At least for me spending £80 per month on take out coffee is insane! With this nescafe package you can save tons of money. Assuming 2 grams of coffee per teaspoon, this comes to 500 coffees (1000/2). At £20 per box your average coffee will cost 4p (2000p/500 coffees)!!! To put this figure into perspective in London you will struggle to find a take out coffee for less than £2! Okay okay, I know that a Strabucks or Lavazza coffee will taste better but definitely not 50 times better! So save yourself some money while not sacrificing a lot on taste! You can always spoil yourself with take out coffee on the weekends!

  6. Sally

Tastes fine for lockdown coffeeThis tin of Nescafe was a bit of a disappointment as on opening it seems to be more dust than granules. It tastes fine though. I ran out of coffee during lockdown and there wasn’t any in the shop, nothing worse than no coffee 😱 so I thought this would be a good purchase which it was, I paid cheaper than the current price, so it was at that point good value despite its dustiness.

  7. Girder

Save your moneyNice tin, shame 50% + is dust/powder/residue from grinding machine & other swept up rubbish to get weight needed. Probably about 400g MAX weight of granulated coffee as you would get if bought in the usual glass jars on sale.First & last purchase. I’d rather get ripped off by a few quid in supermarkets than by £10+ buying this again. At least empty tin will be of use but contents certainly NOT!

  8. Lawrence Harvey

The problem I have with this item is Amazon claiming …The problem I have with this item is Amazon claiming the original price of £43.22, as a 300gm jar is only £6.50 so how on earth can 1kg cost £43 doesn’t make sense and looks really deceptive. It still is value for money just about but not by what is advertised.

  9. Mr. R. A. Leonard

Nescafé Granuals 1KiloWwI purchase this coffee every time. my previous kilo tin is near empty. As it is value for money. But since I recently purchased my last kilo tin. Of Nescafé Coffee. An advert on my Alexa Unit appears requesting me to repurchase the coffee. I have tried to get in touch with Amazon to ask them to remove this advert as I only. Purchase this coffeewhen requiered . So if Amerson Customer reads my review please remove the request to re purchase Nescafé Granuals 1 kg from my Alexa unit.thank you

Poor Quality — AvoidHaving bought several tins over the past couple of years with no issues, this last tin has been appalling. As others have commented, a lot of dust and not all granules. Coffee solidified in coffee canister (despite coffee being stored in the same container numerous times previously). Great effort, including use of bicarbonate of soda, to remove brown treacle-like sludge as pictured in photograph. Taste also rather odd. Similar partial solidification in coffee stored in original packaging.
