  1. Siltone

Delicious coffee at a sensible price! ☕️This is where I stand on these Nescafé Dolce Gusto Café Au Lait pods…..I accept that their ingredients are a ‘substitute’ for high quality freshly ground coffee, but I do enjoy the taste, and I like that they don’t contain sugar. Oh, and let’s face it, you’re probably considering buying 90 of these pods because you also happen to like the product, it’s just that (like me) you’re looking for a more economical way of purchasing them. On that score, these presently cost £19.69 for 3x boxes of 30 (total 90), which works out to 22p per capsule — that’s equivalent to £3.50 for a standard box of 16. To reduce your expenditure even further you could opt for Amazon’s ‘Subscribe & Save’ scheme and get those costs down by a further 15% — well worth considering if your household gets through a lot of these capsules.By the way, my wife and I have tried various compatible Café Au Lait pods but found they were hit or miss, often failing on flavour and/or leaking, and frankly not all that competitive on price. So, we’ll continue to purchase these reliable and original Dolce Gusto pods from Nescafé for our machine. Given their lovely ‘fresh coffee’ taste, and reasonable price, I have no hesitation at all in recommending this 3‑pack of Café Au Lait pods to fellow Amazon customers. Many thanks for checking out my review, I do hope you found it of use. 📖 + ☕️ = 😊

  2. Terry

A must have at 21p per cup.. bargain.…..Have been using these for ages, love the taste and ease of use. We were paying about £4 for a box of 16 pods so to get 90 for under £20 is a bargain. We tried the aldi pods but they broke our machine. Will only use the authentic dulce gusto ones from now on… If you like these then it’s a must have. If you have not tried them then it’s like flat white but not as milky with a nice frothy top. And at 21p per cup you can’t go wrong.

Great flavor, Great price! The taste is exceptionally good. I strong recommend this flavor. It’s creamy and delicious.

  4. Gm Withers

DISGUSTING! Expensive instant coffee and horrible, rank whitener. AVOID!I purchased these pods in the belief they contained real coffee.… not so. They contain instant coffee and a disgusting UHT flavoured whitener, together producing the most gut-wrenchingly vile liquid I have ever had the misfortune to have pass my lips. Not the fault of the vendor, this is all Nestle’s doing. BLEURGH! NOT REAL COFFEE!

  5. Teachermum

We prefer the LattesAs there is only one capsule per drink in this version of coffee it is good value for money compared to the lattes or cappuccinos which use two capsules per drink (one for the coffee and one for the milk)We tried this because we do spend an awful lot on coffee and we’re trying to curtail some of our spending! However this just doesn’t taste as good. We still feel we need more milk and have ended up using milk with these capsules. That’s sort of defeated the point! They just don’t taste quite as nice as the lattes in my opinion.

  6. Bob

Not making any reviewAmazon are biased when it comes to reviews if you say how wonderful the product is it then it’s posted. If you dislike the product they won’t post it so not doing any reviews find out for self.

  7. Mrs. Lynda A. Byford

Great Value for money.I purchased a pack of 90 at Christmas when I purchased my new coffee machine. The taste was really nice ‚lots of bubbles on the top.I only used to but latte in coffee shops and didn’t drink coffee at home. After buying this a have a couple of coffees every day.I have since brought another pack of 90 pods and also my friend was impressed so I ordered some for her as well.

  8. Given_up_humanity

My daily stapleUsed this for as long as I have owned a coffee pod machine, need a few cups of coffee so I don’t get too tired, at certain points in the day else disaster. Cannot drink instant coffee as sets off reflux. And milk in liquid form makes me ill. So I miss coffee with milk, know there are alternatives, I use. But good cup of coffee, I need. Online shopping in supermarkets getting hard to get hold of this… Not good when it’s a staple 3 cups a day or be dangerous (trust me) in charge of a house as my brain dies. So buying this on subscription to ensure I get a decent coffee, and get thru a day as a carer. Some say it’s strong, yeah maybe but you don’t need to drink gallons of it, it’s ideal first thing after water for me in a morning, and twice more during the day. Buying the bigger boxes works out cheaper, and supply is a good thing since start of this year and not been part of the EU.

  9. maggiemay

Value for moneyVery reasonable price . I know some think cafe au lait uses granules and not ground coffee but I like the taste. The only problem I have is the packaging. Far too much cardboard and paper Amazon use especially when they are already in boxes and then in an outer hard cardboard box . They are then packed into a large box surrounded by packing paper. Totally unnecessary.

  10. Felix

It is not the same product type as its Americano, Espresso, Grande “equivalent“Dolce Gusto offers a range of products, which are all good relative to their price. Café Au Lait is the only one in the product range that does not use real ground coffee. The coffee pods contain instant coffee (ie soluble coffee) with milk and soy powder. This may be because mixing ground coffee with milk powder does not work well. Independently, you are paying for pods that contain the equivalent of those cheap powder cappuccino boxes, just with less sugar. It therefore simply a lie to describe it as “good” coffee, and you can get exactly the same much cheaper in a slightly different package. Better to get one of the other Dolce Gusto’s and add a bit of milk.
