Great cardigans! I recommend these 100%These are great cardigans, and I always buy these since I discovered them, rather than the wooly style ones from the supermarket’s or high street. They are much warmer! They do shrink ever so slightly, if you did what I did and wash and tumble dry them on too high a heat! (I’ve just checked the washing label — theu are supposed to be washed at 40° and dried at a low tumble dryer heat! Whoops!) But even then it’s minimal. There has been ever so slight loss of colour over time as you would expect, but again, this has been due to a lot of washes, and I have not followed the instructions!! But even so, the loss of colour has not been much.My daughter Really does like these much more than the previous ones, and they are useful as she doesn’t like wearing a coat at all! They are warm, vibrant and very hard wearing. I thoroughly recommend these to everyone!

Fake item — not the “Russel” branded school itemsI bought this thinking it was the same school jumpers the school buy and embroider. It turns out this business make the jumper themselves, only badly. The buttons are spaced so badly that the whole thing looks strange. The shoulders hang oddly because one sleeve is longer than the other.

Perfect for the child that refuses to wear a sweatshirt! This cardigan is perfect for my daughter who refuses to where a sweatshirt.I find that supermarket cardigans are never very thick and so she is cold in the winter. As this is made of sweatshirt material it is very warm. I also bought her one last year, so can definitely recommend the product for long lasting colour and good quality.

Good quality, bit expensive but happy with the sweaterI bought two of these sweaters for my granddaughter for school. I got one last year and she loved it. They are hard wearing and the colour didn’t seem to fade, which that colour is prone to do. They were a bit pricey compared to others I’ve had in the past but otherwise happy with them.

3nd PurchaseI bought these school cardigans last year for my daughter & they’re still in great condition, bought the next size up for her again this year.Update: I’ve bought these again for the 3rd year running, last years ones are still perfect, I just needed to go up a size, great school cardigans.

  6. Miffy

Good qualityIt’s a really good product, nice thick material like a sweatshirt, and it has pockets! The only trouble is, it is big! My daughter is 5 but she is wearing age 7–8 in most shops. The age 7 one that arrived will have to be saved for next year!

  7. L. Mo

Sizing was confusing, arm material was hugeMy daughter looked like she had bat wings when she wore this, which isn’t the hip look we were hoping to give her as part of her Year 2 uniform. I found it tricky to decipher the sizing and wasn’t entirely sure whether I was ordering a kid or adult size 6! On the plus side, you bats out there can keep warm at night with this top.

  8. Misty_Moon

Smart looking nice fitBought this cardigan for my 12 year old daughter she’s big for her age, so got her 13–14 the fit is just right. She said its a little tight but I think it looks and fits fine. She can do it up and the fabric isn’t stretched at all. Very smart looking.

  9. Rebecca summer

Great quality and washes well — no fading of colourNice school cardi, useful pockets and doesn’t actually need ironing when it comes out of the dryer

Not the right colourThe colour is not as advertised in the picture. It’s shown as a more blue green, the colour I needed, what arrived was just a dark green, not what I needed. Tried to return and they expect it returned as a signed for service, but won’t return the postage, something which cost as much as the cardigan itself!
