Silent, compact ‚capableThis pc is used in the living room linked to a 4k smart TV,it is used mainly for Youtube, Skype and playing videos, and it does all functions without complaint.Setting it up is ridiculously easy, it is so compact you can hold it in your hand as you connect the cables, and it was ready in minutes. It is silent, so no distraction when watching a video, and I’ve watched some that are 20gb in size with no problems.Picture quality is very good,I mention this because the previous pc was a chrome pc,and the screen always had a faded look.In short it’s a good PC!

Good product and fantastic customer serviceWe have purchased a few of these mini computers. We accidentally purchase 6 with WIndows 10 Home instead of Pro. The support team gave us upgrade keys and we were up and running very quickly. I will definitely be purchasing more and would recommend the company and product to anyone else.

Strong little PCWorks really fast and reliable.Only issue is it runs alittle hot & fan is loud during operation.

  6. TesticularFortitude

Good little computer so far* One flaw I’ve foundSo I got this in the mail today and set it up and it’s pretty nice over all. I took it apart to view the guts and see that I can add a 2.5″ hdd. I don’t have any extra SSDs laying around so I put in a 500GB WD Blue drive i had and it is detected in windows. The system though hangs when trying to access the drive. I was able to get it to delete the existing partitions and create a new one but it keeps hanging when trying to access the drive. I’m wondering if it just can’t power this. Not a huge deal, I’ll order a SATA SSD.The windows install comes with the usual Microsoft bloat. and Office is installed in 6 languages and each language has to be uninstalled individually.Got the system connected to my wifi and was able to stream Interstellar in 4K with no issues. So far I’m sold. Will be doing some inspections with wireshark and some registry digging to see if there is any nefarious stuff going on here. but for $200 this is a killer deal.I see the price went up after i bought it. For $239 it’s still not a bad machine. I do have one issue that’s come up with the fan. It has developed a noise i can hear across the bedroom if there is no other sounds.

  7. Formica

Unbeatable value, runs Linux like a champI cannot believe the value for the money I got with this computer. $189 (there was a $30 coupon available) and I got a four core Intel VT‑x capable processor at 2.8ghz, USB 3.1 Gen 1, 128GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, on board ethernet and HDMI, and a Windows 10 Pro license. You can even add an internal 2.5 inch SATA III drive (be careful not to lose the special cable necessary for this!). I put Linux on here and installed Docker and QEMU/KVM and use it headless to run my home automation tasks, including a file server, Pi Hole DNS, VPN proxy, Home Assistant, etc. The hardware is custom built by Awow but uses common chipsets supported by major Linux distros; I did not have to compile a single driver or even download binaries. The build quality is excellent, better than I expected for the money. You won’t be playing any games on this thing, but it will do H.264 and H.265 video decoding just fine via Intel QuickSync, making it a great choice for an HTPC Kodi build.

Great mini PC for office use and entertainmentThe media could not be loaded.

This is very light weight mini computer with side of your hand which you can easily put into your backpack and travel with it and if you want to use it as a desktop, it looks pretty neat and space saving.advantage categories:1. size: as small as my palm, light weight , good for travelling and small desk.2. power consumption: only 10W maximum but power enough for daily use3. multitasking: you can play 4k video and documenting word documents at the same time without any lag4. build quality: it is nice built and make with metal covering.5. variety of ports: even though it is small pc, it has 2 HDMI, 2x usb 3.0 and 2x usb 2.0. what is surprising is that there is type C port which support data and video output and input. and there is a SD card slot. so it is enough for different situations.Things I think need to improve:1. HDD installation is a bit hard comparing other models or brand2. not supporting NVME drive and only SATA 3 so drive reading and writes are stuck at 500mb/soverall is a great product and it is good for its price. I love it

good value and performance but noiserUpdate my review after 90 days of use. As I mentioned below, this unit’s fan noise is too loud, but it cools the J4125 CPU well. It has the lowest temp when compared with another J4125 mini PC I have, especially when I run demanding workload on it. So I up the stars from 3 to 4 with this update. You know the tradeoffs you are making when you buy this unit.I bought this unit on a sale, so good value. However, the fan noise is too loud. I tried different BIOS settings but aren’t able to reduce fan noise. I think Celeron J4125 is a good value because the newer Celeron processors such as N5100 or N5105 is not much more powerful so J4125 is a good buy if you want adequate performance to watch Youtube videos at 1080p, or for remote meetings or classes. I also have Raspberry Pi 4 and 400 and they are not yet powerful enough. The mini PCs and SBCs biggest pro is reduced electrical footprint. So cheaper to run them all day long.

  10. Oregon Customer

Good little system, but WiFi is very unreliableThis is a great little system, it delivers exactly what’s promised, with one notable exception. In my setup, it will be elsewhere in the house, and I will connect to it using VNC. When I first set it up here, I connected it to the network using WiFi. It was about six feet from the router, so signal strength was not an issue. Getting drivers up to date was one of the first things done to it. Despite all this, it kept on dropping the connection, and requiring me to attach a screen, keyboard and mouse, to reconnect to the router. If I were going to use WiFi permanently, this would have a one star, and would be boxed up for return. However since I now have it wired up over cat6, it’s a complete non-issue for me. Thus the three star: it meets my needs admirably, but still has this failure that others should be aware of.That said, it’s a great little system. You wouldn’t want to play games on it, but as a remote system for streaming movies to the den it fits the bill wonderfully. Quite a bit of room for expansion, I’ve got a 512 GB microSD card on order for additional local storage, and there’s a slot where I could put a 2.5″ disk. Performance is by no means stellar, not by comparison with my main Alienware system, but as a media player it’ll do just fine.If your requirements are for WiFi connectivity, all I can say is Caveat Emptor: Buyer Beware.
