Genuinely the best eyeliner I’ve ever usedGenuinely the best eyeliner I’ve ever used. I’m new to gel liners so I wasn’t sure I’d get on with it well. I’ll never go back to liquid liners now. This one is very black, doesn’t print (I have slightly hooded eyes), doesn’t smudge, doesn’t fade and is the easiest to apply that I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never had such good luck with creating winged liner before and I’ve been winging eyeliner for 15 years. The brush is fantastic, I can create a subtle line or go dramatic, it’s just really versatile. This is a must-have for me now, I highly recommend it and will purchase again.

Hello, gel liners!I recently gave up using top liner because either kohl pencil eyeliners dragged my lid, or liquid liners bled into the lines of my eyelids. After watching some YouTube vids, I saw that 30+ ladies were using gel liners. I thought I’d give it a try and the reviews were good on this brand of liner. YES, this is the one for me! It takes patience to get a perfect line but it doesn’t drag on my eyelids or bleed into the lines so it’s a winner for me. The brush it comes with is great too, I’ve not used the thicker one as I like a thin line, but the thin end is soft and precise.

Good to start with. But doesn’t keep wellThis was great to start off with, went on brilliantly and smoothly and I even bought one for my daughter. After a couple of months in correct storage the gel went hard an clumpy and impossible to use. I tried using a damp brush adding a drop or 2 of water but as the product is waterproof the water just sat on top. I tried adding a little beauty oil. But I’ve now had enough of it and now trying a different make. It’s ok if you’re ok purchasing it every couple of months. But not everyone is in the situation to be able to do that. Especially younger people on limited amounts of money

Takes a while to get the hang ofThis is a really nice eyeliner. You get lots in the pot, it’s REALLY highly pigmented for a proper opaque black, it wears relatively well (though not waterproof), it dries velvet matte (I was sick of shiny liquid eyeliner), and is easily removed with an oil cleanser or micellar water. It takes a bit of getting used to if you’re used to felt tip liners. I’d say that the brush that comes with it is very average – it feels entirely the wrong shape for an eyeliner brush and can leave the product a bit smudgy and the lines uneven. You’re better off using a small angled eyebrow brush (a cheap one will do, it’s just about the shape). Dip it in the product, apply it to the back of your hand, and then drag both sides of the brush down in it to give you a sharp point. It makes it a lot easier to get crisp pigmented lines and to draw wings with what is a really great gel liner formula.

Never switching back to pen, pencil or liquidI am so happy with gel eyeliner. I had never tried it before and struggle with eyeliner in general. Liquid runs down into the corner of my eyes but it gives a “deeper” colour. Pen and pencil need a few layers so there is a bigger margin for error. The gel just needs one layer and it’s so easy to apply. It looks similar to liquid liner but so much easier. 5/5

Just as good as the more expensive brandsI’ve been using a more expensive brand for some time now, but thought I’d try this one out after seeing the price on a Black Friday deal. You CAN tell the difference, but not enough to justify paying nearly £20 more for the more posh brand. Its application feels thinner than the other brand, but that’s not a bad thing — it feels lighter on the eye. Longevity isn’t that much different either, and I dare say this one seems to last longer with less smudge. Easy enough to remove with a good makeup wipe. Quite like the applicator that comes with it too. All in all, I’m pretty happy with this product, and will probably think twice before forking out a near fortune on another brand.

Love itThis is my 3rd or 4th pot of the product, and I only use eyeliner on special occassions. Really great formula, comparable to the MAC gel liners. Will not dry out quickly if while using you take out some product onto another surface/back of handand put the lid on properly straight away, or as I do, pick up product on the brush and put the pot upside down onto the flat table surface until I need more. I always make sure to buy this when it is on an amazon deal or on sale in store to save even more money

Fantastic productI have used a pencil liner for years, what have I been missing out on this product is fantastic I’m a lady well into her fifties but still like to look good and apply markup daily, this liner comes with a application brush which is very precise the gel liner itself comes in a small pot but don’t be put off a little goes a very long way and when applying it you don’t get that drag on your eyelid like you do with a pencil which is brilliant for protecting delicate skin I tend to use it through the day on the very edge of my lash line to give the allusion of fuller lashes but it can be used as a thicker line for a more dramatic look, it’s got a brilliant longevity once applied I didn’t need to reapply at all and it was easy to remove with eye makeup remover that’s a whole other review lol overall I would highly recommend and give it five stars.

Amazing eyeliner but…Love this eyeliner. It’s been my go to product for years. It’s a deep black, easy to work, lasts forever and the brush is great but.…there’s always a but. I’ve recently started switching all my toiletries and makeup to cruelty free brands and was gutted to hear that Maybelline aren’t. Now on a hunt for a replacement brand when this jar runs out. Such a shame but I can’t justify an animal suffering just for some adult face paint.

  10. Solita Îre

Love ItI first bought this eyeliner from a high street store before discovering it on Amazon at a great price. I contemplated subscribing but decided against it because this little pot of jet black gel loveliness never finishes. I just love it.It’s so easy to apply, and has great staying power once applied. I’ve used a range of liners, gel, kohl, liquid. From high end to budget. Budget wins for me all the time. My makeup bag will never be void of it.Try it and you won’t be disappointed.
