Nowhere near as bright red as the photoWanted bright red like the photo and it’s dark red. Completely misleading

  2. Craig Moore

Lid isn’t great…Not a bad water bottle, keeps my water cold right up to lunchtime. Used it 3 times and started noticing issues when tightening the lid. Just be weary of that if storing horizontally or putting it in your bag.

  3. Amazon Customer

Wrong size delivered- twiceWrong size delivered-twice. Also, paint has chipped off one of the bottles already. I’ve only had them a week. Otherwise, fine.

WonderfulLovely to drink ice cold fluids after being in 32c sunshine 3 hours later

Good looking bottle with some design and functional limitationsI tested the 750 ml Lifestyl insulated bottle in red. The bottle looks good, with a smooth but not slippery surface coating. The cap is plastic (I think), leak free and has a wide screw thread which is easy to clean. All good so far.I was a bit disappointed with the red as it’s a bit muted and muddy. I was hoping for a bright ‘pillar box red’ colour. Most of the colours available are not particularly vibrant, so pick carefully. The claim is that fluids are kept ‘hot’ for up to 12 hours. That’s a rather ill-defined statement. What is ‘hot’ and does only 2 hours count as it’s not more than 12 hours? So I tested it.I filled the bottle — without pre-warming — with water direct from a boiling kettle. I then tested the temperature of the water 10 hours later. It was 64°C. This is certainly hot … it feels too hot to hold your hand under for more than a brief period. However, you presumably don’t carry around a smart bottle like this to wash your hands. How does it perform in the cup of tea test? Not well. Water at 64°C is really too cool to make a palatable cup of tea, unless you really like your tea lukewarm. I reckon 75–80°C is a more suitable temperature, in which case (and assuming a linear heat loss) this bottle keeps water hot enough (assuming 100°C when filled) to make a cup of tea for about 6 to 7 hours, and no more. The sidewalls of the bottle were cool when filled, but the cap was noticeably warm, so I guess that’s where most of the heat is being lost. The neck of the bottle is quite narrow (diameter 35mm). This might cause a number of problems; filling it using a boiling kettle requires a steady hand or a funnel, adding ice cubes might necessitate crushing them first and cleaning anything gloopy like soup from the bottle could be problematic. On a more positive note, it makes the bottle very comfortable to carry with your hand around the neck and it pours well.In terms of value for money this Lifestyl insulated bottle is towards the upper end of the price range for flasks of this sort of volume.I’ve deducted 1 star because it is relatively expensive (though significantly less than the very similar looking Chilly’s bottle — — which I’ve found is equally good/poor at keeping liquids hot) and another for the combined insulation properties and narrow diameter of the neck.

Great colours, great value and three useful sizesThis ‘Lifestyl’ branded insulated steel bottle is supplied in an attractive box and is available in 500ml, 750ml and 1000ml sizes. I chose the 750ml size, which is around £15 at current prices. The bottles are also available in several colours and I chose the midnight-navy. It was not quite the colour I was expecting but I like the colour I received and therefore was not unduly concerned. The bottle is of a fairly standard design and is similar at least to other offerings available elsewhere. That is not necessarily a bad thing and in any case the price is keenly competitive, so there is little to complain about.I found the bottle to be effectively leak proof and efficient at slowing the fall or rise in temperature of hot or cold liquids. The top is easy to fit and remove and the finish seems to be fairly robust. I will be using mine as a water carrier for walks and other day to day uses. The neck is quite narrow and so I would recommend using a suitably shaped brush to assist with cleaning it but other than that all is good. This bottle seems to be a bit of a bargain to me. The build quality is good and compares well to more expensive bottles I have brought in the past. The ‘Lifestyl’ logo is nicely understated and the whole adds up to a good looking and usable package. If you are in the market for a new insulated bottle and like one of the colours then this bottle is an excellent choice. One cannot go too far wrong with it.

Good looking bottle; a little unstable.Although the dimensions are shown in the item description, I was a little surprised at how tall and narrow this bottle is. The one litre bottle is almost 14 inches tall, taller than many wine bottles. It is also quite narrow, although the opening is wide enough to pour liquid in quite easily without spillages. I had though there might be a problem with not knowing when to stop adding concentrate, as the bottle is opaque, but the inside (when new. anyway) is bright enough that you can see inside quite clearly. It looks quite stylish, and feels pleasant to the touch. The only drawback I have encountered is that, being so narrow, it is quite unstable. I now have a mental note to replace the cap before putting it down, as it is quite easy to knock it over or for it to topple if placed on even a slightly uneven surface. It’s not a bottle for the gym; it’s more like one to use at your desk, and it should keep your drink cool enough throughout a working day. It has certainly kept my juice cool for about seven hours. I haven’t tried it with hot liquid, but it can apparently keep that warm for a decent period too. It’s a decent bottle; I would probably prefer one which has a wider base, and is therefore more stable.

Not the colour I was expectingWhen I received my bottle the first thing I noticed is that it was NOT the colour I was expecting. I went back to the listing and checked that I ordered the correct colour and I found that the colour options don’t correctly correlate to the pictures displayed, so that’s something to be aware of. (Don’t order Midnight Navy if you’re hoping for the Teal coloured bottle)Colour misrepresentation aside, I like that the bottle it quite slimline and not too bulky. With that being said, the slim design makes it a bit more difficult to clean. You can only really clean this bottle with a long bottle cleaner which isn’t ideal if you don’t own one.As I’ve experienced with other similar bottles it doesn’t really stay hot/cold for the amount of amount it claims to. But it does keep your drink the desired temperature for longer than a bottle that isn’t insulated.Overall, it’s a decent bottle. But thoroughly cleaning and drying it is a bit bothersome.

Big capacity and holds heat well. This water bottle is made of steel and is an insulated type. It can keep drinks warm for plenty of time and I have found myself making a coffee at night to drink first thing in the morning when I wake up, with it being at the perfect temperature after around 7 hours.I did take this to work with me and made a fresh coffee when I got there, by the end of my 4 hour quick shift it was still a little too hot to drink, which is a good thing! The capacity of this bottle is great for people who like to take drinks on the go, whether it be coffee or water, it really doesn’t matter. The rubber seal on the top stops any leakage. The only reason I am not giving this 4 stars is due to the lid looking like it’s cross threaded, even when it isn’t. I know it’s not a massive issue but lack of care for details is one of my pet peeves.Other than that, it’s great, works well, looks nice and will keep you going for an entire shift at work.

  10. E. L. Wisty

A good bottle for cold drinks, but neck could be a bit widerThis is a good bottle for cold drinks — without being a ‘tester’ and getting a thermometer out, I put fridge cold water in at 8am, and at 5pm on a sunny day with temperatures into the 20’s, it’s still cold and refreshing. The top seals tightly so there is no leakage, but is also easy to open.My only minor complaint is that the neck could have been a bit wider. The tall thin shape looks nice aesthetically speaking, but it’s not all that easy to pour liquid in without a bit of spillage, and this is going to be more of an issue with hot drinks — it would probably be best to use a funnel. Also it’s just too narrow to get ice cubes in from my ice cube tray — I know that the usual advice is not to put ice cubes in these kind of bottles, but I’m not going to be shaking it around and rattling it — sometimes when you don’t have cold water ready to pour into it you might want to use water straight from the tap and add some ice cubes.
