Android 10, 2.3 khz from an established manufacturer, nice screen, solid constructionBudget tablets from Chinese manufacturers, mostly unrecognisable names, have proliferated, but Lenovo has been around with us for a long time and besides smaller electronic items they make laptops and computers of very good quality. Reliability is a major plus here. My previous tablet was an 8 inch Lenovo that served me perfectly for some 4 years ago.The other factor was Android 10 on offer here. I wouldn’t have considered an older version. Not sure how many updates Lenovo offers, but many do not offer any updates. At 2.3khz this is one of the fastest processors on offer on a budget tablet, expect 1.6 khz elsewhere at the price! There is a 3.5mm jack outlet for headphones missing from many new tablets, including premium tablets. My only qualm is with battery capacity; at 5k mAh it is on the low side.

Good choiceVery pleased . Easy to set up though a few tips on how to access some apps etc would have helped as new to Lenovo workings

fabulousI bought this to replace a failing Lenovo tablet that I have had for a long time and really didn’t owe me anything. As it was such a good tablet I decided to stick with the Lenovo name. This was a grand upgrade, brilliant quality, great battery and so easy to set up. Once I had logged in with my Google account my apps , wallpaper and photos all appeared. I went for a large memory capacity as I am expecting this tablet to last as at least as long as the last one. Very happy

For me, I’m really only using it to SAVE MONEYI’m retired. I spend a lot of time on my own. I usually have a TV set (and associated “stack” of satellite receiver (on, of course) and other equipment (DVD player etc etc) sitting on standby.) I tend to have the TV on, even just to feel the presence of “someone else” being here — and often not watching the screen. I’m and early riser (3:30 — 4:30am) and will hit the hay come around 11:00pm — with the TV (stack) being on around 19 hours per day (did I get that right?) — even with a load of “A++” energy rating equipment — the stack consumes 120W ( 120 Watts ). For 19 hours, that’s 2,280Watt hours or 2.28kW hrs. Mains energy is charged by the kW hr — which currently is “only” 22 pence — so that’s 2.28 * 22p = a tad over £0.50 Thats 50 pence per day — doesn’t sound “too much”, does it — but .….. Yes, I KNOW I could switch it off, but I prefer not to. So I decided to get a low-power item (low energy power usage I mean) — and the tablet has been live and active, with a “KASA” smart metering plug (same way I measured the current TV “stack” power usage) — and over the last 30 days, it has registered 0.5kW hrs. Over a YEAR using the TV stack would cost me £180. Using the tablet — it will cost me 0.5 (kWh) * 365 (days) / 30 (how long it took to burn 0.5 kWh) = £6.08 — saving around £174 quid — which I can spend on a few good meals-out on my next holiday.…Well — I was asked to say why and what I thought about it ! LOLOL — perfect for my intended use !!!!!!!!

Great value proper tablet. This is my 3rd 10″ tablet. Previously I have had a cheap Samsung and a cheap Acer. Both of which were very slow compared with this. It’s fast and with a good amount of internal memory. It does exactly what i wanted with minimal fuss.Android 10 introduces a couple of changes, which I’m not sure if I want. But overall it is exceeding expectations. I find I’m using this more than the PC for casual fact checking and shopping! It is also a great ebook reader with a fabulous screen.Good value for money.

Great quality!Been looking for ages for a replacement for an aging Samsung which cost almost £300.The spec of this was what made my mind up.Bought a lower spec Lenovo for my hubby 2 years ago and it’s been incredibly good. He spends hours using it, so if this one performs half as well, I’ll be happy

Brilliant tabletGreat screen, quick and nice to use… No bloatware, snappy and quick… Nice metal body, premium feel…Recommend you buy a case to protect it and prevent drops as very slippyRecommended 👍😎

QualityAfter my previous Lenovo tablet started to get tired after 7 years hard work I thought it was time to get something new, this was a bit of a no brainer really due the quality and reliability of my old one and this new M10 HD 2nd Gen does not disappoint .Once again it’s a nice tablet from Lenovo it’s a fast lightweight tablet with some new features with Dolby sound which really brings the tablet alive when playing music. Iam very Pleased with this new tablet .

  9. Stargazer

Superb Lenovo tabletMy husband is so happy with his new tablet. His old one was a different make and had storage issues. This one has no such problems and the sound is very good and it looks smart too. It covers all his needs for internet access. He enjoys music and e mail and everything else. We had been unable to access this tablet locally.

Not greatBought this to replace my Kindle, which for some reason or other no longer supported Amazon marketplace! Go figure. Anyway, this is bigger and easier to see.…. that’s it really. It is slow to load and respond, it hasn’t got a back button so I constantly have to start again, if you swipe it across as they suggest then you pages disappear never to return. It is heavy and awkward to hold and the battery life isn’t as good as my Kindle was. To be honest I wish I had bought an up to date Kindle instead of this Lenovo but as I have bought a couple of protector covers I shall have to keep it as it would be too awkward to have to send it all back. As a relatively new tablet user.….….get something else.
