Suitable for garages and outbuildings???I needed an extra freezer to keep some frozen fruit and veg from my allotment. I chose this freezer because it is advertised as being suitable for garages and outbuildings Further reading confirmed this, indicating it was capable of coping with cold winters. I wanted to put it in a brick built shed adjoining my house. However the instruction booklet states that it is for use indoors at a temperature of not less than 10 degrees C.This is a nice little freezer but it is clearly not for the purpose for which it is being advertised.

Top rateWhat a great freezer. Delivered 3 days early so I was very happy. It’s lightweight, easy to move around and switched on and started working instantly. Loads of room in it, much better than most I compared it to.

Really bad !!!!!Received this freezer and it looks like it has been sent out smashed up. (see pictures) there is a dent at the top of the unit then there is another one half way down , (picture 4 ) and then the area that houses the compreser doesn’t fit the unit is dented and at the bottom of the freezer the whole of the corner is bent up . I only have 2 feet on the bottom of the unit as 2 have not been fitted ( picture 2 ) . I appreciate that sometimes units get damaged in transit but even if the dents were caused in transit the paint and crease in picture 4 wasn’t and sending it out with 2 of its feet missing is a problem with whoever is making thsese units. Buyers beware.

Arrived with dentsArrived with dents in the back of the freezer, I couldn’t send it back as I needed it for my Xmas freezer food!! So I have a brand new freezer with dents in it that I saved up the £100 for so not satisfied at all

  5. Bev Bedford Amazon Customer

Very impressed.Ordered on a Saturday and came on the Tuesday. Very fast delivery.Great value for money.Spacious inside. No complaints at all.Highly recommend.

  6. Amazon Customer

CannyNot much to say about a freezer really but a good size inside, quiet and a very good value for money, especially as it designed to go in a garage or shed if needed (not all of them do)

  7. Tina

freezerIt great it fits and is so versatile for a family of 4 there are only 2 of us and 4 dogs so can easily freeze their food. In fact I use it as my main freezer and its so handy being in the kitchen.

  8. Maddog

Appears to be good valueThe freezer arrived a day before confirmed delivery date, which was problematic as I had arranged to be home for delivery and would have normally been out on the day it arrived — there was no message to say it was arriving early, however that aside it was good to receive it early. It was well packaged and the driver took it to the outbuilding where it is to be kept. At present it is working well and I am very pleased with it. My only concern is that it is clearly advertised as suitable for use in a garage or outbuilding — but the manufacturers manual most specifically says it is not suitable. However there are a number of owners who confirm that the freezer is ok to use in such an environment — I wait to see as winter sets in!

  9. Mr Ray Wong

Damaged freezer with No returns process!!Warehouse abuse!!! The freezer arrived 2 days early which was a great surprise, however, when the product was opened there is damage to the rear panel and side panel. It is expected with the limited packaging; freezer on a polystyrene plate, strapped inside cardboard box. Most annoying part of this is the return/refunds process through Amazon. Not a simple process due the freezer containing coolant and whenever I try to navigate through my order it keeps saying I have no valid orders.I would advise anyone against buying fridge/freezer products through Amazon and will definitely go to a shop in the future. Now have a brand new freezer, £150 and damaged. What should I do?

  10. Dale Saunders

Quiet machine, very light to liftWell proportioned (fits snugly into my pantry). Very quiet running and enough room to keep plenty of food on ice.
