Superb quality budget tabletIt’s a great tablet. Wanted it so I could be a bit more mobile when connecting to my amazon prime accountPros-quality is superb for such a low cost tablet. It does every thing I want it to do. I’m particularly impressed with the picture qualityCons- had to install google play and all the apps that go with that. Not a major problemThe amazon fire could do with more memory. Maybe offset an increase in ram by dumping the video and camera apps. The video and photo i I take on my iPhone and the quality is much better than the amazon fire photos I compared. so upgrade theRAMRegardless, I love my amazon fire it’s every thing I thought it would be and the quality of the screen a it’s general build far exceeded my expectations. The amazon fire is superb for a low end tablet and gets 5* from me.

Really pleased with my Kindle Fire HD 10 — fabulous value for money. When my old iPad 4 couldn’t upgrade operational system any more and I was faced with spending over £400 for a new one, I started looking at Kindle Fire tablets. OK, I can’t use FaceTime and I can’t sync with photos on my Mac but I can use it to read my Kindle library and I can browse the web on a very good size screen. One definite advantage of Kindle Fire over iPad (other than being less than half the price) is the ability to add storage space with micro SD cards. I bought a 32gb Kindle and added 128gb by way of micro SD and can now download masses of programs from BBC iPlayer etc to watch away from home. I don’t use the Kindle for everything I could use it for, but it does what I use it for brilliantly. I’m really happy with it.

Wouldn’t recommend this productBought as a Xmas present for my son. He only started using it a couple of days ago as he hasn’t had time to set it up due to work. Screen has now gone black and item can’t be used. I understand it is a refurbished item but I expect it to work for more than a few days.

OK for some thingsI bought this primary for work zoom calls in the hope I could view more than 6 individuals on main screen… Unfortunately it doesn’t allow that, it’s the same as my phone screen. Also as the images are larger due to the bigger screen, the quality isn’t great including the image if me.. Seems a lot more pixilated and fuzzy. I’ve reverted back to my phone again 🙁 however have kept this tablet as the quality and sound is brilliant on videos… If you need it for that then go for it…

Great long lasting devicesBought these for my mum and dad who live in Malta. They previously had the smaller fires for years and needed an upgrade. They are incredibly happy I’m just a bit annoyed that 1) Amazon won’t post to Malta and 2) they went on sale a week after — as a long time prime customer a heads up from Amazon would’ve been nice

Good, mid-range tabletThis is a pretty solid, large screen tablet. The build isn’t the best quality – the housing is all-plastic rather than metal. However, the plastic is a good, solid, thick version. This is great for everyday use as a web browser and my Mum loves it for game play (she plays a lot of mystery-type games, so nothing she’s doing is precisely a strain on graphics capabilities). The camera is adequate for video conferencing, but for stills photography is not brilliant. Images often appear quite muddy and low resolution. Was very glad to see that in this iteration of the Fire 10 HD, even though it is still ostensibly the same model as a couple of previous purchases made in the last couple of years, the charging port has been changed from micro-USB to USB‑C. We’ve had a couple of issues with micro-USB charging ports on these devices becoming loose and ceasing to function, so hopefully the change will resolve this issue. Refurbished version looks as though it were new.

Great tablet.Superb. Why pay ridiculous money for an overpriced overrated ipad?

Great buyDid a bit of research on how to add and remove apps and within 30 minutes had an Android tablet that absolutely flies. Fantastic screen and battery life . The 2 ram isn’t an issue — in fact it’s faster than my Teclast T20 that has 4 ram . All in all it’s a fab tablet that can be updated to run any bit of software that will run on straight Android.

Great customer serviceI recently posted a 1 star review regarding my refurbished 10 tablet which, after only a few weeks use, had became faulty. I had no way of acessing the warranty (message in my account said data too large to download onto my phone). However, I’ve just had a lovely chap from customer service offering a replacement devise and explaining how to return my faulty one.Well done amazon. Great customer service. For the record the fire 10 is (normally) an excellent budget tablet.

Refurbished verses a new model….Very good tablet, however it was purchased as a refurbished item and the screen feels movable and not securely attached. I have compared it to an earlier version which feels very secure and sturdy despite being 5 years old. I now wish I purchased the full price model.
