Great productMy autistic son actually sat down for a whole half an hour and built these independently. That’s a first in 13 years! He really enjoys putting them together and taking them apart… we were missing a set of arms for one of the dinosaurs but he really wasn’t bothered. Good they come in a handy box so no.more.bits can go missing!

Grandchild loved itI bought this for granddaughter for her 4th birthday as she wanted me to buy dinosaur and volcano related things so this was one of the dinosaur presents. When it arrived and I saw all the parts I thought it would be too complex for her. However, after taking them out of packet it was straightforward and she loved using the screwdrivers. I love that each dinosaur comes with it’s own screwdriver, thank goodness as I forgot batteries for the ‘drill’. One thing I would suggest is only open one packet at a time so you dont get dinosaur parts mixed up with each other. It is a fun project and the little instruction page was helpful and I’m glad it had name of each dinosaur in instructions it as aside from t‑rex i had no clue. This is a good product, a couple holes weren’t done properly, but we still managed to get screws through. The screws and screwdriver are chunky and very easy to put in/screw in for a young child.

Great valueMy 6 year old son loves assembling and then disassembling these dinosaurs. They are quite lightweight plastic but for the price you get 4 dinosaurs a drill and a manual screwdriver. Seems great so far

  4. sherpa

Not a play with again and again toyThese are great, a good way to occupy a small child fora good while.Really easy to follow directions and the battery operated screwdriveris fantastic. I bought them for a 4/5 yr old boy and he loved them.BUT.…the child who has enjoyed putting them all together does notalways wish to take them apart for a second go.They must be taken apart with nice wee manual screwdriver supplied. So I would keep them in reserve for a really cold dull afternoon before mum/dadhas to take them apart and pass them on to another child.

Missing pieces … which seems to be a common problemGreat concept and good product over all, but despite each dinosaur coming in separate sealed cellophane bags, one of them has 2 pieces missing … we have no left arm and no yellow tail for the dinosaur shown … The pieces are interchangeable, so we can construct any three dinosaurs at any given time, but that is NOT what we paid for … If you can send the missing pieces, I will gladly give a better reviewUPDATED REVIEW: One email to Customer services (details on invoice) to explain which pieces were missing; a quick reply and all missing pieces received within a week. Far enough! It’s a great toy when it is all there!!

  6. SB

Great for dino-mad child!Great for a 4 year old dinosaur mad little boy!The battery powered screwdriver is terrific. Takes two AA batteries and works just like Daddy’s screwdriver. It isn’t too fast and can’t over-tighten the screws. An adult has to figure out the first assembly sequence. The “instructions” are little more than an exploded diagram of each dinosaur. But once you’ve figured one out, the other three are essentially the same. Each dinosaur takes 10 screws and we had one extra with each one.The legs tend to loosen the screws as they are moved, but that just adds to the pleasure as the screwdriver is gleefully used to tighten them up again. Not a cheap toy, but worth it for the pleasure it gave!

  7. Gisele

Very good present for a 3 year old who loves dinosaures and likes putting things together. This is a birthday present for a 3 year old boy who loves it .( I expected a bigger box but packed with dinosaures . )

  8. Lisa Fay

Great toy.Bought as a birthday gift, I didn’t look at the age limit on the product and actually bought them for a 3 year old. The adults had to build them but he absolutely LOVES them and were his favourite toy on the day! They looked very big and chunky in the photos but are actually quite small. That’s the only photo I have of the dinosaurs, they’re small but the right size for a 3 year old.

  9. Malcolm R Wilson

Plays with it every dayThis was purchased for one of my dinosaur-mad grandsons. He loves the idea of building them himself as it engages him more closely with the dinosaurs themselves and educates him in the use of basic tools. An excellent toy for a child of 4 (nearly 5)!

  10. Laurence Gough

Missing parts and drill not workingA birthday present for my daughter who loves to try to use my screwdrivers and drill, she opened it today to find the drill not working at all with brand new batteries, tried various sets. Being one of the main attractions it was disappointing. Sadly there also wasn’t enough screws to build the dinosaurs correctly. The quality of the dinosaurs appears to be good however and the idea itself is great.Edit: The company has now sent out a replacement drill and screws — thank you.
