RubbishAbsolute rubbish. i don’t think I have ever bought anything so NOT worth the money. I don’t know how it got 4 stars.…I think the owners paid people to give stars. The sound was pathetic and the buttons were extremely hard to press. I didn’t bother even giving it to my granddaughter as I knew she wouldn’t be able to operate it. Don’t waste your time or money folks. Thank you

Good product for a three-year old learning to spell and counting basic numbers. My three-year old Grand-daughter opened this on Christmas Day, and after opening her other presents and playing with some, she returned to this Learning Pad. Once I had found some batteries, she began to play with it and enjoyed pressing all the buttons in turn. She particularly liked the three tunes she could sing along to, and played them over and over. I have a feeling she will use it quite often and it will help her learn how to spell words. The Pad is easy to hold, light and colourful, with lots of buttons to press to retain interest. The three tunes are fortunately well known despite the American accent. The voice feedback can be a little annoying, not being British, and the numbers only run from one to ten, (my Grand-daughter already counts up to twenty). It is a shame it comes without batteries, and has no volume control. The batteries can be fiddly to insert as a small screwdriver is also required to get into the battery compartment. The Pad would be even more useful as a learning tool if each letter button was not limited to a single item (eg “A is for Apple”), however the spelling function will be a useful facility. Overall a good product and feels fairly rugged for use by three-year olds!

Wasre of moneyAs an early learning device this is really poor. The letters shown are in UPPER case which is not how young children learn. The American voice uses the names of the letters not the sound (that’s not how children are taught) and refers to zed as zee. There is an art to getting the ‘keys’ to respond so a young child may struggle with that. I thought the ‘spelling’ button would ask them to use they keys to spell but it doesn’t…it just spells them — again using the names of the letters not the sounds. Designed by an adult without experience in teaching I suspect

Education Toy PhoneI purchased this learning toy for my grandson’s 2nd birthday as I thought he’d with his parents help use it to learn about some basics as really he has plenty of toys to play with along with his elder brother. Of course I didn’t open it on delivery but wrapped it up with 3 1.5 volt batteries. So on his birthday he unwrapped the gift and took one look and went to play with his existing toys, so on this evidence he probably didn’t like it.I picked it up and tried some of the functions and it worked very well. Sadly it has a mock time of 09:41 on the display which cannot be changed which is why I have dropped a star. Maybe he’ll get use out of it when he’s approaching pre playschool age.It will help with basics but 2 is too young.

Fascinated by numbers and letters he was amazed that there was a voice inside telling him which …I bought this for my grandson’s 3rd birthday and he immediately started playing on it. Fascinated by numbers and letters he was amazed that there was a voice inside telling him which to chose. Ideal for this age group. It also looks like a tablet so he can play on it just like Daddy. It is good quality and well made. The sound is great and the voice natural.

Misleading age suitabilityAlthough initially shown to be for 18 months to 4 years, it is actually for 3 years and over. I was disappointed at first, but luckily for me I have another grandchild who is 3 years old. So I will keep this for Xmas.

Looks GoodThank you for quick delivery. It looks good and information was good. Was bought for a three year old for her birthday next month so has not been used yet. Think it will be good and probably used on journeys. Should be good to learn things.

Double bought Christmas prest by grand parentsHi, I did purchase your game for my granddaughter but her other grandma had already bought it for her for Christmas so I have returned mine to you, as we both bought the same item it obviously is a good game, I’m sure she will enjoy her grandma’s present now I have to look for another Merry Christmas

A LOT SMALLER THAN IT IS IN THE PICTURE ADVERTISING ITGift for my 2yr old grandson, very easy for him to use and he takes it everywhereBUT a bit disappointed with the size of it, as in the picture advertising it, there’s a toddler and adult sitting on the floor using it and it’s like A4 size, I would regard this as a bit of a false advertisement
