From the manufacturer

BIC Kids Evolution Ecolutions colouring pencils are suitable for budding artists.

Recommended by teachers*, the BIC Kids Evolution Ecolutions colouring pencils use high-quality, ultra-resistant lead that’s rich in pigment, so the bright colours stand out clearly on the page.

If your kids are prone to nibbling on their pencils, you’ll be pleased to know that they’re also wood-free, with the resin protected by an integrated layer of varnish that’s chew-resistant and won’t flake. They’re even easy to sharpen.

So when you want some quality children’s colouring pencils for a school project or a bit of arts and crafts in the home, a set of BIC Kids Ecolutions Evolution colouring pencils is just what you need to bring kids’ pictures to life.

So far so goodI have two young children who love colouring in. Their love of colouring in appears to pale in comparison to an apparent love of destroying the colouring pencils that enable them to do this. We have a pencil-case full of pencils of questionable durability with lead that may or may not sharpen to the point of utility. Seeing this set on Amazon for a very reasonable price I took the punt. So far they have been subject to a significant amount of benchmark testing (partially marking benches too) and they have stood up to this test. The colours are vibrant and provide decent coverage.

  2. Amazon Customer

StrongStrong pencils, my 2yo keeps on throwing them around, so far no tips have broken. Really impressed as I bought some other brand before that were a bit cheaper and I ended up throwing them as you could barely see the colour when drawing and they were breaking at first drop on the floor

  3. Ppjays

Wonderful pencilsWonders smooth colouring pencils very vibrant in colours. I will most differently be buying again

  4. Calm Cal

DisappointingThe super resistant lead makes it hard to do anything with these, what a shame, these have a nice decent range of colours I wanted them to do well — regrettably they do not, they do not shade or blend well, they have a very limited basic use.

  5. Winifred

Great colour for the priceI purchased these colouring in pencils for my, for school. These pencils are a fantastically vibrant for the price of them. They are brilliant value for the amount you receive in the pack. I will purchase these again for the new term of school.

  6. Craig Rouse

Excellent stocking fillers.I bought a couple of boxes of these when they were on offer for around £3. They are well worth that money. I have gifted them to two boys who are particularly fond of colouring in books. They love them.Pleasing to know they are very safe for children to use too. Great feature. Eco friendly too.Another great product by BIC.

  7. Julee

Good pencilsNice coloured pencils. Already sharpened and ready to use. They feel sturdy so far. Colour intensity can be adjusted with varied pressure. Some colours are similar, yes, but I feel it’s as good as you can get with a set of only 24.

  8. Grace

Love these!Really do love these pencils! A big range of colours so you have everything you could possibly need. Great price and definitely recommend!

  9. J Case

ExcellentGot these on a bit of a deal but they are just fabulous for the price.… and don’t fall apart when sharpening.
