Trespass Tiffy Girl’s Casual Jacket

Product Description

A great coat for school or a winters day, the Tiffy girls’ padded jacket is extremely cosy, perfect for helping her battle the chill.

Lightweight, this jacket has been filled with cold-heat insulation, which is able to absorb warmth so she’ll not suffer from the shivers when out in the cold. A drawcord at the hem further aids heat retention by sealing it in as well as helping to keep out drafts, all the while, creating a comfortable fit.

The hood is detachable and can easily be stored in 1 of the 2 zip pockets. Furthermore, it can be used to provide shelter in the rain as will the water resistant shell that is effective up to 2,000 mm.

This style of jacket comes in a various colours and will help her through cold spells with ease.

Fix the pockets, and five star all the wayThis is such a great coat. It’s well made, there are internal pockets and places to put a name, etc. It’s washable! It’s waterproof. It’s warm! it absolutely ticks all the boxes! The only thing: This is meant to be a dress coat. Trespass has totally forgotten the ever essential fact that this means the coat is longer than usual, and plunked the pockets stupidly at the bottom of the coat… Like you’re meant to be built like an orangutan or something… So an average HUMAN child (A‑hem) cannot easily reach the pockets by any means.

Roatie Toastie! My daughter is very tall for a 7‑year-old & generally wears aged 11–12 clothes, after reading the reviews that the coat is a little generous on the sizing, I still ordered size 11–12. It is a bit large on her, the sleeves completely cover her hands and the coat is almost down to here knee’s, but it is ideal for the bitter weather we are having at the moment, it’s barely reaching above freezing most days. Luckily it arrived in time for the biting minus figures and snow of the weekend. She played out for a couple of hours in the snow with this coat on & she was lovely and warm, no complaints except cold toes and fingers — but that isn’t the coats fault! My only negative’s for this coat is the lack of an extra zip pocket to the front like the “boys” version has, why not on this coat too?? And the lack of colour options in her size, she loves blue and we had to settle for the pink.If you want your kids to be kept warm & dry and still have room to grow into the coat, I cannot recommend this coat enough. I also bought the “boys” version for my son, which he loves too!

Lovely warm coatThis coat arrived yesterday, earlier than expected. It really is a lovely coat, my daughter is 6 and based on reviews I ordered 5–6, it firs lovely! My daughter said it was very warm after testing it out on an icy walk.I like that the coat is knee length and therefore would cover her school uniform. The hood is detachable by a zip if you so wish.

  4. Kate

Nice jacket — but not lightweight.I actually bought this jacket for myself! I’m a size 8 and have found in the past that ages 13/14 fit me perfectly! This jacket was no exception. It’s a lovely jacket but definitely not lightweight as described. It’s actually quite thick and undoubtedly will be lovely and warm in the winter. However, I wanted a warm but lightweight jacket that I could easily carry and pack — and this wasn’t what I expected. Sadly returned.

size fittingThe coat arrived when it said it would, my great-granddaughter is tall and slim.So I was a bit worried about the length but this fits perfectly, though I have just bought her size 11/12. I’m old school and like them to have room for growth so by September this size will be right for her given the growth spurt they have and what they to wear under it, just a school jumper or blazer.. Also, kids come in different shapes. For this style of cut, it suits her.At the moment very pleased with the purchase and the price was very good.

It isn’t “down” as describedDisappointed it wasn’t a down coat as described but it is waterproof and very comfy and warm. As mentioned in previous reviews it’s on the large size but on a positive note my Granddaughter will get next year out of it too which I’m grateful for because I’ve got it quite late in the season. I would normally buy her age 6 to 7 but after reading reviews I decided to go for the age 5 to 6 and it’s still got a couple of inches on the sleeve length and the length covers her school skirt below her knee which on cold wet and windy mornings is quite welcome. Seems to be pretty durable fabric that will stand a regular wash, which is important to me because her supermarket winter coat didn’t last the season which was my reason for purchasing this one. Only given four stars because It isn’t “down” but overall it is good value for money.

  7. chunkymonkey

Good quality, good priceBought for age 7 daughter who wears 9/10 in supermarket clothing. Generous fit plenty of space! Keeps her warm, she likes it, zip seems sturdy, arrived quickly. Tempted to get one myself! Considering supermarket coats are around £15–20 its MUCH better quality!!

  8. RG

Lovely coat but much larger than the size indicatesThese are such lovely coats for the price, but they are much larger than the size indicates. My daughter is almost 7, so purchased age 7–8 and it’s huge on her. Had to get the smaller age 5–6 and even this is too big for her. Age 5–6 indicates that it’s suitable for 110–116cm height. My daughter is 121cm height and it’s too big for her. Too long on the arms, and generally big all over. She’ll have to grow into it. The age 3–4 one fitted her until she was 5. If you can get the size right, these are brilliant coats for bad weather or really cold days.

  9. stephieceeee

Perfect coat for Winter and SpringThis coat is fab for my 7 year old girl. It’s long and warm, not exactly waterproof but nothing the spray in the can can’t fix. Kept her warm on snowy days and the hood has stayed up on windy days. It’s a fab length so keeps her legs protected too. She loves green so added bonus that it’s not only sold in pink.

  10. Georgia Abrahams

Lovely but BIGThese are very lovely coats but they are HUGE! I bought the 2–3 for my small ish 4 year old and the 7–8 for my tall 7 year old but both coats are enormous. I’ve ordered the 5–6 for her as we’ll just hold on to the big one but take note new buyers.
